Every morning we have a reading session to start the day.

 

Signs and Symbols Give us a Message

 

We had a discussion about what is a sign and what is a symbol?

Elizabeth, Riley and Libby have found the sign to say we are an Enviro school.

Hayley is pointing to the sign which tells us where the new Office and Sickbay are.

This sign tells people that this is our school.

 



Writing names for numbers

In Maths we have been using numicon to find other ways to make a numbers to 10. We recorded these on our whiteboards.

Cross Country

We ran and ran and ran  around the Cross Country track. We had to keep on the outside of the cones and to not push the other runners. Some people tripped over but they quickly stood up and kept running.

Hamish came second in the 5 year old boys race. Well done Hamish.

Isolde is a speedy bee.
