How We Organise Ourselves

As part of our current Inquiry which involves looking at the systems which are in place to enable food to get from the producer to the table, we have gathered walnuts, made peach jam, a loaf of bread and tomato chutney.
The peaches for our jam came from our school orchard.

First we gathered found the peaches on the ground under the peach tree.
 Then we peeled the peaches.
Next we put the peaches in the pot.
After that we added sugar and boiled the mixture.
Finally we spread the jam on bread and ate it!!!
It was delicious.

Nate's mother came to help us make the chutney

Adding one

In maths we are thinking about having one more or one less. We built a staircase to 10 as we added one more.

Singing in Assembly

Washing your hands...
We sang a song in Junior Assembly this week to remind the children to wash their hands.
Libby introduced our item. She spoke confidently.
